The ERGO Baby Carrier's ergonomic design supports a correct sitting position for the baby's hip, pelvis and spine growth. It disperses most of the baby's weight between the hips and thighs, which helps to eliminate compression of the spine when hanging by the crotch which most other designs require. The ERGO also balances the baby's weight to parents' hips and shoulders, and alleviates physical stress for the parent.

Submited By: Tracy Ziolkoski on 12/12/2009 LOVE this carrier! I have tried on every carrier out there (slings, snuggli's, bjorn, ect) and none of them were as confortable!! My daughter LOVES it too (we got it when she was 3mths old as my snuggli was hurting my back due to lack of padding and support, she is now 7mths old and falls asleep everytime shes fussy and we are out!!) Excellent carrier and I would HIGHLY reccomend the Ergo to any parent to be!!! Its great because it looks great on moms and dads doesnt look to small on dads and is not too big to look cumbersome on moms!!! 10/10
Submited By: cheryl ramoas on 12/07/2009 We got this when my son was about 5 months old. It was perfect for travelling. It put him to sleep and kept him close. We tried ring slings before this and found that they were too fussy. This was perfect. We\'re so glad to have it around for our next one!
Submited By: Jessie Mo on 10/02/2009 We had the Bjorn for our newborn and that worked well. We found that when he got to be about 3 months that it started to hurt our backs. This carrier was recommended to us and I absolutely love it! The hip belt is great for eliminating back pain and our baby loves to be in it. It is very easy to get on and off and the back shoulder strap can be managed with practice. The only thing to be aware of is that baby can not face out in this carrier. We still use the Bjorn for short time periods so our baby can face outwards.
